Hello! I'm Zakiya and I'm here to offer business owners and their staff access to classes and consulting services I've developed from my 12+years as a leader in the specialty coffee industry.

The bulk of my experience was formed in Los Angeles, California while working for startup up coffee companies including Handsome Coffee Roasters, Cognoscenti Coffee, and G&B Coffee/Go Get Em Tiger. For the bulk of those years, I steered Go Get Em Tiger's coffee program from a two-cafe multi-roaster to a roastery supporting 10 cafes with direct trade relationships from multiple origins.
From creating unique and specific sensorial experiences to communicating origin stories that highlight the importance of sustainable sourcing with long-term producer partnerships, I've dedicated my career to developing skills that further specialty coffee's equitability across all parts of the supply network.
